Hey all, welcome back! We’ve got a new addition to our True Voice Media podcast this week.
Last week we talked about the rise of programmatic advertising, the different ways media companies are diversifying their revenue steams, and how different platforms are integrating more features from mobile to desktop.
This week we’ll be traveling down a different path…a new i-thingy has hit the market. The iPhone X offers a new feature; facial recognition. How does this affect marketing, advertising, and your own security? Is this going to become a new norm, just as our use of social media has become? How ethical is this new feature?
Tune in to hear what we think.
Lastly, we’ll wrap up with what we’re all obsessed with this week; recommendations we know you’ll love.

This Week’s Obsessions:
- Jessie is obsessed with restaurant week. Every Fall Philly restaurants offer a special deal; $35 for a full, four course meal. In particular, Tinto and La Viola Ovest, offered amazing food and services this year.
- Caroline is Marc Maron’s standup special on Netflix, Too Real. She may or may not have watched it three nights in a row.
- Jeff is obsessed with two things, Catanacomics and Dr. Who. Catanacomics is an Instagram account focused around comics of a girl and her boyfriend, John. “They’re so cute, it’s painful. Painful cuteness.” But in addition to this “cuteness,” Jeff has just introduced his fiance to Dr. Who, a series full of love stories, for those who love love.
